Wireworks is a multimillion-dollar redevelopment of a 19th-century wire spring factory into a modern live-work-play community in downtown Newburgh. The 21,500 sq ft historic building now houses creative private studios and offices, flexible-term coworking desks, conference rooms, nine affordable loft apartments, and ground-floor retail. The renovation preserved original brick walls, timber beams, and industrial character while adding contemporary amenities like an elevator, high-speed internet, and HVAC. Home to artists, startups, and residents, Wireworks has become a vibrant hub of collaboration and community, aiming to help revitalize Newburgh’s East End Historic District.
