About So Vicki

So Vicki is a sustainable fashion studio and boutique based in the historic Vicki Clothing factory building in Newburgh. Founded by designer Annie McCurdy, the brand emphasizes ethical, slow-fashion practices—using deadstock fabrics, vintage notions, and repurposed materials to create funky, one-of-a-kind garments. From upcycled handkerchief tops and patchwork jackets (crafted from old blankets) to lacy “church pants,” each piece blends vintage inspiration with modern style. Working out of a 19th-century former coat factory, So Vicki has revived garment-making in this space and offers an eco-friendly edge to Hudson Valley fashion. (Visits are by appointment for this atelier.)
