For my weddings + adventure elopements brand, Kathryn Cooper Weddings, I travel worldwide to document unique couples and celebrations with my creative, candid, storytelling eye.

I started my photography career working in research & casting for the Food Network, then transitioned to being an on-set and stills photographer for Food Network, Cooking Channel, Science Channel, and more. This transitioned to event photography, travel photography, and documenting nonprofits around the world.

I've worked in Asia, Europe, South America, the Caribbean, and the U.S, and traveled to every continent except Antarctica. When I'm exploring--whether solo, with friends, with colleagues, or on a work trip--I value quality over quantity, and aim to live with and understand local ways of life.

In my free time, I'm an avid outdoorswoman who loves hiking, camping, multi-day adventure trips, SCUBA diving, cliff jumping, and almost any new adventure activities. I'm also an adjunct professor and guest lecturer in the innovative arts space.
