Katherina "Kate the Cursed" Jesek is an American artist, born 1999. After finding mentorship in the veteran artists of the glitch art movement around 2019, her signature short, 5-second looping videos made with analog TVs and vector displays in the early 2020s received widespread attention in the media art world.

Shown at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria and Times Square on the NASDAQ screen. Auctioned at Sotheby's. First solo show was at the SUNY Westchester Center for The Digital Arts in Peekskill, in collaboration with KinoSaito Arts Center in Fall 2025
