Cornell Cooperative Extension Ulster County is dedicated to offering free or low-cost workshops on topics that range from how to garden, to parenting and youth education! We're here to help, with information — and people — you can trust!

CCE Ulster County is a part of the Cooperative Extension land grant system, a partnership between County, State, and Federal governments that is administered in New York State through Cornell University and enjoys the benefits of a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. Each county's Cooperative Extension association is independent and works to serve the needs of the county in which it is located.

Extension staff and trained volunteers deliver education programs, conduct applied research, and encourage community collaborations. Our educators connect people with the information they need on topics such as commercial and consumer agriculture; nutrition and health; youth and families; energy efficiency; economic and community development; watershed health; and sustainable natural resources. Our programs include but are not limited to 4-H, Master Gardeners, and the Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program.

Our ability to match university knowledge with community needs allows us to play a vital role in the lives of individuals, families, businesses, and communities throughout Ulster County.
