I relocated to the Hudson Valley in February 2025 from the mountains of western North Carolina. A designer/maker for over 30 years, I now hand-build my fine silver metal clay jewelry and dye my botanical print scarves at my home studio in Woodstock, NY. I am all about simplicity and sustainability. I prefer the things in my life to be few, but exceptionally well crafted, rustic rather than polished, and with a story to tell. To that end, I don’t adhere to trends or follow main stream fashion, preferring an improvisational, spirit-guided approach to everything I do. My wares are rustic, yet refined; the work speaks to ancient influences, but is very much of my own time and decidedly contemporary, a style I call Urban Primitive. My work offers a respite from the over-abundance of soulless stuff in the world. I am at heart, an animist and believe every piece I create carries my intentions of peace and gratitude out into the world, each piece contributing towards self-actualization, with a subtle and ever so powerful magic.
