Do you love movies? Do you miss the fun of the drive-in? Do you want to get paid to setup outdoor drive-ins and watch movies?! Then we have the perfect job for you!
FunFlicks is hiring Event Technicians for our upcoming outdoor movie events. We need hard working, self-motivated people with a passion for technology and entertainment, that can deliver, setup, and run our equipment at events. These events can be anything from backyard birthday parties, to public screenings in a park, to pop-up drive-in theaters using high quality projectors and multistory inflatable screens!
Most of our events happen nights and weekends, from Spring through Fall, so this job can be great for a student looking for summer work, or someone looking for an alternative to app-based gig work. In addition to someone who can work independently on solo projects, we also need team players. This includes parent and child teams, couples, BFFs and any combination of those that work well together and love movies! If you have someone in mind that you'd like considered to be hired with you let us know! We are always looking for a reliable pair of team members.
Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects (50 lb. speakers, sandbags and other gear).
- Available to work most weekends and some weekdays
- Have a valid driver's license and current Auto Insurance.
- Understanding of both Audio and Video pertaining to Live Events.
- Have a SUV, minivan, truck or similar vehicle, able to transport equipment or to pull a small trailer.
- You must be professional, friendly and able to communicate effectively with our customers.
- Clean background and driving record
We won't kid you, this position requires some manual labor as you will be responsible for setting up large movie screens, projectors, speakers and other equipment for our events. - but it's also fun!
